Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) Services

Atkins has undertaken numerous accident investigations, on behalf of the HSA. Our on-going work for the HSA has given us an unprecedented insight as to how the day-to-day decisions of the PSDP, Design Teams, Contractors, and others can affect safety on site. Our Health & Safety Department fulfil the role of PSDP on individual projects. In order to ensure a consistent approach across our business streams Atkins’ have developed a ‘PSDP Guidance Manual’; which includes procedures, policies, and templates to be implemented by our Project Managers. Atkins can deliver tailor made safety management solutions; including:- – Development of Safety Management Systems (including OHSAS 18001). – Accident Investigations & Expert Witness (health & safety) services – Preparation of Safety – Statements / Risk Assessments – Site safety audits & insurance liability surveys. – Safety training.
